Greetings friend….. I’m Kimberly King Wise…

I have been immersed in End-of-Life work personally since my parents had to fight the state of Virginia and WON back in the mid 70’s, in order to being my beloved 4-year old sister home to die peacefully with her family, vs. being forced to endure more treatment that the doctors admitted would not save her. This was before hospice, let alone pediatric hospice was even brought to the US.

From that point on, my mother was an end of life advocate and “doula” before the term “end of life doula” was even coined. She taught me how to companion the dying and their families while raising me. This is now MY PASSION. <3

After working in the funeral and burial industry, I realized that the current “industry”, run by big corporations, is taking advantage of the lack of exposure and knowledge of individual and family rights to take care of their own dead. I became a passionate home funeral and green burial educator and guide. Ultimately whether you choose to do a home funeral or green burial is 100% your choice and will be respected. EDUCATING my families on ALL OF THEIR OPTIONS is my passion. I hope this serves as an “industry disrupter” to the current status quo.
