A Very Special Thank YOU to Lindsay Bakke. We attempted to bring a world class unConference in 2015 and due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to postpone it. I would like to let everyone know how much I appreciate the efforts of Lindsay Bakke! She worked very hard with me and be looking for her in the years ahead. She is starting a blog, wanting to intersect the worlds of technology with death and dying.

Lindsay is on the path to self discovery and would love to be able to help others also on their journey. She hopes to have more connections with the life portals (birth and death) and bring more awareness of these sacred transitions to the rest of the world. ! !
She is a former elementary school counselor of three years and prior to working in public schools Lindsay worked with children diagnosed with mental health concerns and helped their families get community supports from a country program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her education consists of a Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in Educational Psychology and Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
Lindsay has a passion for children and families and joining this new movement of conscious and connected dying is a new adventure that Lindsay is beyond excited to be a part of. ! ! The newest and most life affirming discovery has been the calling to become a death doula. She is starting her training under Deanna Cochran and is coordinating the first ELPC Unconference! ! !
Lindsay’s most recent experiences with family loss has brought her to this new discovery of becoming a death doula. This past April, Lindsay’s grandmother passed away from her cancer battle. One year earlier, almost to the day, Lindsay’s father died from a heart attack in his home by himself. The two greatly different experiences of family loss transformed Lindsay and when she was helping her family after the loss of her grandmother, she noticed how effortless it was to comfort, support, encourage, reassure, and spread peace and love. It dawned on Lindsay, this is a type of work. She researched the community and knew it was her next highway on her journey. !
