I am a certified death doula, lawyer and spiritual counselor focusing on holistic support of the individual and family during one of the toughest times in the life cycle.  Its most important to me that all of a family’s needs are met with compassion, knowledge and simplicity. I support with advance care directives, full scale advance planning, creating ritual and ceremony, and after death information such as wrapping up the practical affairs of a loved one’s life.

Intensely passionate about end of life issues, I was formally introduced to the field of death and dying in 2012 while riding a bus in Cuba. I met a young woman with uterine cancer who was open and honest about her physical and emotional challenges in facing her disease and the possible end of her life. When I was called to the bedside of my brother-in-law I became intimately aware of the massive gap in support that exists for those who are contemplating or preparing for the end of their lives and support of the family after a death. I founded Going with Grace to bridge this gap and have been helping families ever since! We are a team of death midwives, financial planners and spiritual counselors committed to supporting with any problem faced at the end of life.  As a recovering lawyer, I am keenly aware of the myriad of issues families face at the end of life and its my mission to make sure families feel wholly supported during this time.
